Podcast 2 - 2008 ASPA Conference
This podcast is a 5 part series of a group discussion about the different issues that Public Administrators are facing today. The group consists of ASPA President Dr. Donald Klingner, Board member Dr. Christine Gibbs-Springer, past chapter president Al Noyola and Irene Navis the newly elected Chapter President.

Part 1 - ASPA Related Training VS. Specialized Training people get through their jobs or other professional organizations.

This segment is a discussion about how people can improve their skills in specific areas, continuing education & training. Work towards marketing and building ASPA membership.

Part 2 - Media Attention.

This segment discusses how we can market ASPA benefits, highlighting people who receive awards from ASPA and the challenges of getting positive media attention vs. negative attention which sells.

Part 3 - The Human Capital Crisis

In this segment Al Noyola talks about what role ASPA could play in Human Capital and Succession Planning. Donald Klingner talks about sponsorship, networking, facilitating and developing models for members to follow.
